Differences Between the Candidates and Major Differences Between the Campaign Teams
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
It is impossible to list the differences between Trump and
VP Kamala Harris; it would require multiple pages. I will offer you a few,
which you surely already know.
Trump is an old, white supremacist. He is also a convicted felon.
He is charged with other major crimes related to treason, violations of the
Espionage Act, and Obstruction of Justice. He is also a self-proclaimed sexual
predator. Between 2017 and 2021 Trump proved that he is incompetent and unfit
for any public office. His failure to lead in the fight against Covid-19
resulted in the loss of more than one-million American lives. He is too ancient,
and unfit to lead our nation and is clearly in decline both physically and
mentally.
Kamala Harris is a vibrant, hard-working public servant whose
accomplishments in California and Washington are numerous. She has been
prepared for the presidency for years. Her plans for the American people involve
all 330 million men, women, and children, while Trump represents the
super-rich, and his Neo-Nazi army. Possibly the greatest difference is Trump’s
desire to win the presidency is founded on issues which will benefit him
personally, beginning with the ability to pardon himself for his many crimes
against the American people. This is his only hope to remain from living the
remainder of his life behind bars.
WHAT THE CAMPAIGNS ARE DOING TODAY
Trump’s campaign is very busy attempting to dismiss the
damage caused by the release of the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 which
defines Trump’s fascist plans for our nation’s future. He is also under fire
for his selection of J.D. Vance as a running mate. The controversy involves
concerns from members of both parties. With President Biden no longer a
candidate, the question about age lies solely on the remaining old man who is
nearly 80 years old, Donald John Trump, and Trump is losing support.
Kamala Harris’ campaign is working day and night to convince
voters that she is the right person, right now to lead our nation forward.
Trump moved our nation backwards for four years and would continue on that path
forever after using the Supreme Court’s decision to grant him absolute
immunity.
Ms. Harris has a second team, led by the President. He
continues to work for the people and complete the agenda he began in 2021, with
the assistance of his Vice-President. Trump has no accomplishments to boast
about, but Ms. Harris has many. Her team can proudly work in communities across
America and promise that she will serve all Americans.
AMERICA FINALLY HAS REASONS FOR HOPE AND EXCITEMENT
A date to be remembered by all men and women is July 21,2024.
On this day President Biden removed himself from the 2024 campaign. Also on
this day, a feeling of excitement began to grow across our nation. Democrats
offered a new presumptive candidate who was younger, accomplished, personable,
progressive, and a woman. History could be made on November 5, 2024.
Although she and President Biden share many of the same
beliefs and goals for our nation, she is more progressive and is more in touch
with all Americans, young, old, Black, white, rich, poor, male, female,
Christian, Muslim, Jewish, any and all religions or those who reject organized
religion.
Trump’s base is miniscule. They are composed of white
supremacists, anarchists, and men and women who support sexism, the
establishment of a single religion, and banning immigrants from all nations who
are not pure white. Put simply, they hate the America of our Founding Fathers.
America is not and never will be an “all-white” nation. I am
a 78-year-old white American of Prussian descent. My pride in America is
centered around the fact that we are a diverse nation, whose numbers are
growing rapidly. I cherish the fact that every man, woman, and child in America
is guaranteed the same rights promised by the most sacred document ever
written, the Constitution of the United States of America.
Trump would destroy that reality: Kamala Harris will protect
and preserve it. Trump swore to do the same thing on January 20, 2017, but
failed.
