Donald Trump: How Dumb is He?

In a display of both desperation and advancing stages of mental decline, Trump went off script during his hate rally in Pennsylvania last evening.

Saturday evening was intended to be a “campaign reset” after the President ended his campaign, and Vice-President Kamala Harris became the new leader of the Democratic Party. However, once again, displaying a low level of intelligence, Trump ignored his teleprompter and began attacking Harris with baseless and humorless adjectives and adverbs.

During his disheveled speech, Trump called his opponent both a communist and a fascist, while claiming she has “the laugh of a crazy person”. Pitiful.

Once again, Trump proved that he has no understanding of politics or the basic structure of Governments. He was clearly unaware that “communism” and “fascism” are virtual antonyms, although I’m positive he doesn’t know what an “antonym” is.

Communism: “a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.”

Fascism: “Fascism is a far-right form of government in which most of the country's power is held by one ruler or a small group, under a single party. Fascist governments are usually totalitarian and authoritarian one-party states.”

Someone needs to educate the orange buffoon, if that’s possible. His affliction with malignant narcissism prevents him from accepting factual information.

WHAT TRUMP WAS TRYING TO SAY

I believe what Trump was trying to say is that Kamala Harris is a “progressive.” Shouldn’t every politician be “progressive?” Their number one goal should be improving the quality of life for their constituents.

Trump’s administration, between 2017 and 2021, was “regressive,” attempting to move our nation backwards into the dark days of the mid-twentieth century. In the 1950’s, racism, bigoty, misogyny, literally prejudice in all forms, was acceptable. Pure whites were omnipotent. All other races were considered subservient to those with power who were experiencing white privilege.

I am a proud liberal/progressive. I believe that the Constitution guarantees that all Americans have right to work towards the American dream. We are a diverse nation, and this is our greatest strength. We have a lot to learn from each other. The truth is every man, woman and child on earth share the same basic needs and desires.

Therefore, I believe that the responsibilities of our government are to the people. They must provide safety and security for every American. Issues important to the majority of Americans must take precedence over all others. The current policy of “profit before people” must end. Corporations can care for themselves.

It’s not that Trump doesn’t understand what America is all about, it’s that he doesn’t care. His billionaire benefactors own his body and soul, if he has one.

This became a typical Trump rally in 2024. The indoor arena held about 8,000 people. Before Trump completed another of his lengthy ramblings, some of the attendees were seen moving towards the exits.

This is no surprise. Trump has basically been saying the same things for the last nine years; only the names have changed. Not once has he offered a positive idea. Self-pity, anger, hatred, and the suggestion of violence in his name have been the running themes in every speech. I doubt that any of his supporters are actually listening to him as he seeks the presidency for the third consecutive time.

EVEN HIS ATTACKS ON THE ISSUES LACKED SUBSTANCE

“In her speech yesterday, Kamala went full communist,” he said. “Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls. You saw that never worked before … It will cause rationing, hunger and skyrocketing prices.” Trump in Pennsylvania Saturday evening.

Trump doesn’t understand or refuses to admit that “Greedflation” is the problem. Inflation is fueled by a shortage of materials, labor, etc. However, there is no reason for the huge increase in the prices of necessities, primarily food, in 2024.

A president’s loyalty must be to the people and only the people.

My wife and I are seniors. Our sole income comes in the form of Social Security checks. With a fixed income, a price increase in the necessities to sustain life is critical.

There is no viable reason for the drastic increase in our bill from the local grocery store. The food industry has adopted the policies of big oil. They can increase prices, so they do. Profit before people.

Thanks to the actions of those who call themselves “Republicans” the wealthy have advanced our society from unbridled capitalism to a plutocracy. The super-rich control everything which happens in Washington today.

Kamala Harris is coming to our rescue. She is why I am now excited about the 2024 election.

Trump brags about his “economy.” His fiscal policy of “trickle-down economics” was revealing a decline in the average income of all Americans in 2019. In 2020, his failure to lead our nation during the pandemic nearly resulted in another depression. President Biden rescued our country from his failures. Health experts claim that Trump is directly responsible for thousands of the more than one-million lives lost from Covid-19. “it will just go away,” was a lie.

The bottom line is many Republicans are disappointed with his failures in Pennsylvania.
