How Dumb is He?

In 2012 Donald Trump made headlines by claiming that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States and could not legally become our president. Of course it was nothing but a publicity stunt.

In another display of desperation, Trump is now claiming that Kamala Harris is illegally running for our nation’s highest office in 2024.

"I just heard it today that she doesn't meet the requirements and by the way the lawyer that wrote that piece is a very highly qualified, very talented lawyer.

"I have no idea if that's right. I would have assumed the Democrats would have checked that out before she gets chosen to run for vice-president.

"But that's a very serious, you're saying that, they're saying that she doesn't qualify because she wasn't born in this country." Donald Trump

A note to your former, illegitimate president: “your display of fear, of losing to a Black woman, is disgusting. If you possessed an iota of self-respect, you would keep your big mouth shut. You know you are wrong about this entire situation.”

President Biden’s spokesperson scoffed at Trump’s moronic suggestion.

"Donald Trump was the national leader of the grotesque, racist birther movement with respect to President Obama and has sought to fuel racism and tear our nation apart on every single day of his presidency," a Biden campaign spokesman said in an email.

"So it's unsurprising, but no less abhorrent, that as Trump makes a fool of himself straining to distract the American people from the horrific toll of his failed coronavirus response that his campaign and their allies would resort to wretched, demonstrably false lies in their pathetic desperation."

His original invalid argument, is that because she did not win the primaries, she cannot be the Democratic nominee. He is obviously uninformed about the process each party uses to choose their nominee. Another empty spot in his little, uneducated brain.

The truth is that in 2016, the GOP was not required by law to nominate Trump although he won the primary race.

His birther claim is absurd according to numerous law professors. Kamala Harris was born in the United States. The Supreme Court has upheld multiple cases since the 1880’s confirming that anyone born inside the confines of the United States of America is a “natural born citizen,” regardless of the status of the child’s parents.

Jessica Levinson, a professor at Loyola Law School, told AP: "Let's just be honest about what it is: It's just a racist trope we trot out when we have a candidate of colour whose parents were not citizens."

Trump is simply pissing in his fat boy pants. Ms. Harris is everything he is not: young, experienced, charismatic, intelligent, strong, and she brings an excitement not seen since 2008 and 2012.

WHAT THIS IS REALLY ABOUT

In just one month, Kamala Harris holds a lead in the national polls by nearly four points. She is leading in most battleground states: two are tied and in one she is a single point behind the orange buffoon.

Trump is not the “sharpest tool in the shed,” However, even he is aware that if such huge changes can happen over one month, they can continue, and he will likely be the underdog in every poll going into the election. He is literally running scared.

Trump’s need to bring up past mistakes like his facetious birther claim, reveals a level of desperation not seen in any modern-day election campaign.

It is no secret that I am a supporter of Kamala Harris. She is what America needs most in the 21^st century. As the Los Angeles Times reported, and I paraphrase, ‘she is not only qualified, she is presidential: appearing to offer an heir of confidence that she will a strong and forward-thinking American President.’
