Proof Trump and his Fascist Party are Obstructionists, and why Our Government is Dysfunctional

A couple of months ago, President Biden, his party, and Republicans in Congress agreed to a plan which would help secure our southern border. However, a phone call from Trump to the House Freedom Caucus forced the bill to fail.

Over the last few days, his American Fascist Party, blocked a bill protecting the rights of perspective parents to obtain an IVF procedure. Trump recently lied, claiming that he supported the process, but I and others knew better.

Yesterday, House Republicans squashed its own plan to prevent a government shutdown. Can you say “incompetence.”

AN ENTIRE PARTY CONTROLLED BY A DEMAGOGUE: NO FREE THOUGHT ALLOWED

Anyone who can prove to me that the “Republican Party” exists in Washington today, I will be happy to retract this article. The facts prove that every man and woman on the right side of the aisle today surrendered their power, free thought, dignity, and self-respect on January 20, 2017.

I offer you an irrefutable fact: a democratic government cannot exist without sincere deliberation and eventual compromise. This is why our government in Washington is the most corrupt and incompetent in the world in 2024.

Today, Democrats and Republicans refuse to discuss the issues with each other. More upsetting is the fact that right-wing politicians refuse to speak to each other. The once Grand Old Party is divided into multiple groups, most of them having moved to the extreme right and are embracing fascist ideas.

Lies are now accepted as “alternative facts.” This is a practice included in Hitler’s ‘playbook’ in 1930’s Germany: “if you tell a lie often enough, the people will eventually accept it as fact.”

TRUST MUST BE EARNED

I find it impossible to trust a single member of the party calling itself “Republican” today. I also realize that I trust only a few Democrats.

I hope you are as angry as I am. Our elected officials hide the truth from all of us claiming “reasons of national security.” Bullshit! This is our country, not theirs.

The only rule for those who once belonged to the Party of Lincoln is “whatever Trump demands, we accept his orders and will comply without dissention.”

WHAT A SECOND TRUMP ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENCY WOULD MEAN FOR OUR COUNTRY’S FUTURE

If our nation’s people decide to surrender their freedom to Trump in November, all three branches of our government will become corrupt beyond repair.

Now that the Supreme Court has become fully politicized, hope is rapidly fading. When they gave absolute power to Trump if he is elected, the dream of those who attended the Constitutional Convention between 1787 and 1789 will disappear forever.

When Trump began campaigning in 2015, I became very disturbed. Trump offered nothing in terms of solving our nation’s major problems other than ideas which were clearly racist and bigoted. As his crowds grew, it became obvious that the number of Americans who support white supremacy was much larger than I had imagined. This was the only reason millions of our nation’s people would support the least qualified candidate in history. This fact produced a great sadness for me.

Trump refers to “his people” as “basement dwellers.” This is accurate because that term also completely describes Trump and his Klan.

Finally, and I am repeating myself, Trump is not an American. He is adamantly opposed to the principles and morals which are cherished by every true American. He is unfit to claim the title of President of the United States of America.
