Unwarranted Hate, Caused by Unwarranted Prejudices: This is Donald Trump’s Plan for America

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

I may be wasting my time, my number of daily readers has declined. I can only assume that what I have to say is offensive to some. However, this issue is more important than anything else I have to say.

I have always promised to offer nothing less than the absolute truth, facts which are denied by millions of Americans. If the truth makes you angry, then don’t read what I have to say. However, I will never cease to claim that “the truth lives here.”

From 2013 when I began writing for a Las Vegas newspaper, one thing has never changed: my total disgust with men and women who harbor hatred based on some form of prejudice.

IGNORANCE CAN BE FORGIVEN, BUT TO CHOOSE IGNORANCE OVER FACT IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

Racism, homophobia, misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, Xenophobia, and any other form of prejudice is to choose ignorance over fact, over the reality of what it means to be an American citizen.

Although support for the Neo-Nazi movement in America began long before Trump’s illegitimate presidency, it was intentionally adopted by Trump and his supporters between 2017 and 2021. These anti-American groups celebrated the irrefutable fact that they had a leader defiling the White House. The “most powerful man in the world” had become their master, their hope that today’s America would be destroyed, and replaced with a fascist regime with Trump as their Fuhrer.

FEAR AND HATRED ARE THE TOOLS USED BY RIGHT-WING EXTREMISTS WHO SEEK POWER OVER ALL AMERICANS

I have many complaints about the election process in the United States. One of these issues is of greater importance than all others.

Campaign ads on television influence more voters than any rally where the candidate’s supporters are present. When Trump was your illegitimate president, he claimed that by watching FOX News, ”he learned everything he needed to know.” Sadly, millions of Americans share his baseless and moronic belief.

Voters believe the lies paid for by political action committees.

If you haven’t noticed, 100 percent of all right-wing political ads are negative, while the majority of those supporting progressive candidates offer a positive message. You are probably asking “why?”

Fear is the strongest of all emotions because once fear is deeply entrenched in the human brain, hatred follows. These are the tactics used by all “Republicans” for more than four decades.

“Republican” presidential candidate from Reagan to Trump attacked their opponents in the primaries and the general elections with lies and conspiracy theories. Fear spread quickly and when lies are repeated, weak-minded men and women began to accept them as “alternative facts.”

However, actions by Republican presidents while in office revealed their incompetence, and their support for special interests, while ignoring the needs and wishes of the majority; the working class.

Shared by Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump was their fiscal policy of “trickle-down economics.” The results were recession, the Great Recession, and a near depression under Trump.

The national debt rose from one trillion after Reagan left office, to more than 35 trillion today.

The worst of all right-wing presidents was undoubtedly Donald John Trump. Who knew that a failed businessman would also fail to enhance the lives of more than 330 million people?

Early in his illegitimate presidency, he bragged about the economy. However, the accomplishments he claimed as his own were begun under the Obama administration. He deserved praise, not the orange man who failed at everything he tried in 78 years.

However, his most egregious economic failure was his alone.

Trump refused to read the Presidents Daily Brief. In December of 2019 one of his aides, assigned to read the PDB, informed him of a possible health emergency which began in China, but was spreading to other nations.

As the story began to appear in the press in January of 2020, Trump stood before the television cameras. He claimed that America was better prepared, and “it would just go away.”

He continued this lie until the latter part of March when Americans who had been infected with Covid-19 began to die.

Obviously having no knowledge about what to do, he offered suggestions including medications used for horses, drinking bleach, and forcing strong, bright light inside your rectum to kill the virus.

His failure to lead our nation in a time of crisis resulted in the loss of more than one million lives, and an economy which crashed. When he left office on January 20, 2021, America was nearing a depression, and more than 2.7 million jobs were lost.

President Biden’s policies and timely action saved our nation from financial disaster. Working with the pharmaceutical companies, the vaccine which countered the effects of Covid-19 was completed. With no plan available from the Trump administration to deliver the vaccine, he and his advisors put together a plan which would make the vaccine available for anyone who wanted it.

President Biden saved lives while saving the economy.

Finally, over the four disastrous years of Trump’s administration, he added about eight TRILLION dollars to the national debt with his “great economy.”
