Any More Doubts About Trump and His Prejudicial and Fascist Party?

 One of the most American results of the 2024 election was the victory of Sarah McBride. The people of Delaware made history when they chose the first transgender woman to support them in the House of Representatives.S

However, right-wing extremist and homophobe, Nancy Mace, from South Carolina, has introduced a bill which would prevent Ms. McBride from using the women’s restrooms in the Capitol Building. Once again, Trump’s “people” prove that my America no longer exists. Our nation has never been a great nation and likely never will be.

How easily we forget the Declaration of Independence when it satisfies our personal and twisted beliefs.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.--That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.”

Homosexuality was acceptable among many medieval societies. However, today’s fake Republicans, in the control of the Christian Religious Right, act as if it was something new, a disease. The choose ignorance over historical fact. Their support of a single religion’s bias is clearly a violation of the First Amendment.

No other developed nation denies the reality of the LGBTQ community. Sadly, America, as a nation, is not “united.” It is judgmental, and constantly displays its true self as a nation composed of massive racism and bigotry. To these extremists, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution mean nothing. For right-wing politicians, their sordid opinions are the only ones that matter. They do not represent the people who elected them. They treasure the darkest days of our nation’s past. Their country is Trump’s country filled with mistrust, anger, hatred, and violence. He learned his tactics from Hitler’s speeches in 1930’s Germany. This is how he controlled the people of an entire nation desperately seeking change, and change they got.

It is highly possible that this will happen in the near future to my once beloved country. If Trump completes only a part of the 922-page Project 2025, no one will ever experience the freedoms I enjoyed for more than 78 years.

Trump was trained by his father, Fred. He has always been a white supremacist, and considers himself superior to all other men and women on the planet. This is why in private he calls his most ardent supporters “basement dwellers.” He will never serve all Americans and therefore cannot be labeled an “American President.”
