With Trump as America’s Worst President, Only One Glimmer of Hope: Nothing

Trump’s release of the names of some of his cabinet choices and other aides is the only glimmer of hope for our nation’s future. Trump knows nothing about being a leader, and his recent choices of men and women who will serve in the White House know even less about what their positions will require. This means that the harm they intend to place upon our nation and its people will surely be of less gravity than it might have been.

Trump proved that he is incompetent by choice and by lack of ability for four long years. His actual accomplishments register a huge zero. It is clear that he and his minions will be equally effective between 2025 and 2029.

Either way, I hope that I and Trump fail to survive the end of his horrific presidency. We will both become octogenarians in 2026.

I love America but I do not wish to live through another four years of whatever Trump’s nation will be called. It will not be the America in which I lived from 1946 until today.

I have no interest in how the “experts” rate Trump’s first illegitimate presidency. I have experienced 13 presidents, and now I will be forced to survive a 14th who will have been elected twice but in two non-consecutive elections. Trump is not an American, and this alone makes him the worst in history. He is a convicted felon and would have been convicted for acts of treason and violations of the Espionage Act if he had not had the assistance of Vladimir Putin to win the presidency once again on November 5th.

Experts claim that Trump supporters will suffer the most from his failed economic policies. I can only hope they are right.
