Is the ‘Shadow President’ in Control?

Every year Republicans create a possible government shutdown. The “debt ceiling,” a situation which only exists in America, is an issue which is highly volatile, created by right-wing politicians, although they agreed to the yearly national spending budget at the beginning of the year. There is no other situation which offers irrefutable proof that the government of the United States of America is composed of men and women with a low level of intelligence, incapable of governing 340 million people. The two words which accurately describe the failures taking up space in Washington are ‘incompetent and corrupt.’

There are no “Republican” politicians in our nation’s capital. These pretenders abandoned the principles and morals of the Grand Old Party on January 20, 2017. Not allowed to think for themselves, they obey the demands of Donald Trump without question. However, there is a change in the way decisions are made in 2024. A new player, another self-serving super-rich and incompetent white man, is now making decisions for Trump’s fascist party: Elon Musk.

Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is a man without a brain who constantly refuses to do the right thing for his country.. He does nothing without seeking permission from his co-presidents. Although his failed party finally agreed to a temporary “stop gap” decision until March on Friday evening, he was not involved in the process with the exception of seeking instructions from presidents Trump and Musk.

Asked about his conversations with the man who may have been fraudulently elected and his shadow, Johnson replied to the press with the following explanation.

“I was in constant contact with, with President Trump, throughout this process. Spoke with him most recently about 45 minutes ago. He knew exactly what we were doing and why. And, and this is a good outcome for the country. I think he certainly is happy about this outcome as well. Elon Musk and I talked within about an hour ago.”

For those of you who are not as crazy as I am, and don’t follow politics closely, none of this is new. Republican’s inability to think freely began with an edict from Reagan in 1981. He made it clear that no one in the Republican Party was allowed to disagree or question a Reagan policy or goal. In 2017 the final implosion of the Party of Lincoln occurred on January 20.

The situation with Musk is not unique. It is an undeniable fact the Dick Cheney was the primary decision maker during two George W. Bush administrations. White House aides and staff confirmed that numerous conversations between Trump and Putin occurred between 2017 and 2021. It was clear that the orange buffoon was receiving his orders from the Russian president.

George W. Bush was known as a man with less than average intelligence. However his incompetence was over-shadowed by the old, obese, white man who suggested that “drinking bleach would kill the Covid-19 coronavirus.”

Congratulations “Republicans,” you only choose the worst candidates in history.
