YOU GO, JOE!
I underestimated President Joe Biden. He is in my top five
list of our nation’s greatest presidents. (I have to take a closer look at that
sentence; I’m not sure that out of 47 presidents, five of them could be
considered “great.”)
Unlike any of his predecessors, he displayed the courage to
simply “do the right thing.”
First, he pardoned his son who was convicted of crimes which
are seldom prosecuted. Right-wing politicians conducted a real “witch hunt”
into Hunter Biden for years, and I commend a father, who happens to be our President,
for his actions.
Second, yesterday the President acted with admirable compassion
and common sense.
“President Joe Biden is commuting the sentences of roughly
1,500 people who were released from prison and placed on home confinement
during the coronavirus pandemic and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of
nonviolent crimes. It’s the largest single-day act of clemency in modern
history.”
Add to this part of the story the irrefutable fact that the
media ignored the most successful economic policy since the Clinton
administration, rescuing our nation from the disaster created by Trump between
2017 and 2021, and you begin to see the greatness of our oldest president.
As I write this, it must be noted that the mainstream media
failed to tell the truth about Trump. He accomplished nothing in four years
with the exception of additional, permanent tax cuts for the super-rich. He
bragged about the economy, but it was not his to brag about. These situations
were created by the Obama administration long before we began to curse the
orange buffoon calling himself Donald Trump.
The media intentionally downplayed Trump’s failure to lead
our nation during one of the deadliest health emergencies in our nation’s short
history: Covid-19.
Trump refused to read a critical document called the “Presidents
Daily Brief.” However, in December of 2019, one of his aides, who was assigned
to read the document, informed your illegitimate president that a healthcare emergency
had originated in China, and would most likely spread across Asia, then advance
into Europe and North America. Of course, we know that Trump wasn’t interested:
it did not affect him, and therefore he ignored the information.
When the press began to report a growing number of deaths
related to the coronavirus in January, he told them, “it will just go away.” As
Americans began to become infected with Covid-19, he suggested that “drinking
bleach,” or exposing our insides to “bright light” would kill the virus, his
supporters believed his fairy tales. It is clear why Trump referred to them as “basement
dwellers.”
However, in March, American men, women, and children began
to lose their lives from Covid-19. He did nothing.
However, the pharmaceutical industry began to develop a
vaccine. As production began, the Trump administration failed to create a plan
to distribute the vaccine.
When President Biden took office in January of 2021, he and
his staff quickly created a plan which would offer the vaccine to all Americans
and save lives.
Healthcare experts claim that if Trump had taken timely
action in January of 2020, at least 10 percent of the more than one-million
lives lost could have been saved. This makes Trump the most prolific mass
murderer in American history. He is directly or indirectly responsible for
about 100,000 American deaths.
If you voted for him, you are a fool. His role as a con man was
clear throughout his 78 years. It was confirmed in 2021 that Trump was the
worst president in American history. A second term can only be worse than the
first.
