Millions of People Fear Artificial Intelligence, but the Truth is, “Could it be Worse than Professional Politicians and Other Dictators?”
Two statements are accurate: “All Governments are bad, some
are simply worse than others,” and “all humans are flawed, some by honest
mistakes and some by choice.”
Some people choose not to believe that evil is a reality and
threatens everything that happens every day in America. These same people fear
the inevitable advancement of Artificial Intelligence, AI, for one reason: computers
are far more intelligent than any human being. Think about it. If you are a septuagenarian,
as I am, you know that over time those we consider to be of great intelligence
prove us wrong. Human beings are flawed; some more than others.
We must study history, and we must learn from our mistakes
and the mistakes of others. Republicans continue their attempts to hide the
truth by erasing historical fact. Racism, bigotry, homophobia, religious prejudice,
and misogyny would be removed from our history books if those who call themselves
“Republicans” have their way.
If you would like to experience the essence of stupidity,
listen to Trump, Vance, McConnell, Cruz, Hawley, Grassley, Jordan, Greene,
Johnson, or any other “Republican” lie in front of the television cameras. They
should be embarrassed for how moronic they have become, but they lost all
self-respect in 2017.
If all the IQ’s of every Republican in Washington were added
together and averaged, the number would be several points below 100, which is
average.
Now, let’s discuss Trump’s choices for his cabinet and
others to lead critical departments.
If you thought Republican politicians were morons, you ain’t
seen nothin’ yet.
I offer you a few names: Hegseth, Gabbard, Kennedy, Noem.
Not one of these men and women is qualified to hold the positions for which
they are chosen to manage and control.
A cowardly Republican-controlled Senate has confirmed
Hegseth as Trump’s Secretary of Defense. Facts prove that Pete Hegseth is a
raging alcoholic, a sexual predator, and an embezzler, having stolen funds from
two military-based charities. He will now control the largest and most
expensive fighting force in the world.
Need I discuss Trump’s low level of intelligence? We have
all heard him speak. He makes no sense, moving from topic to topic, and mumbling
nonsense constantly. The subject matter never changes. He whines about “being
persecuted,” encourages hatred for anyone who disagrees with him, and tells his
biggest lie constantly: “I have never done anything wrong.” It was wrong for
his father not to use a condom in 1946.
Are you still afraid of AI? I am not. If it did take control
of the world, I doubt that it would be worse than what is happening in
Washington today. The inmates are definitely running the asylum.
Over the last four-plus decades, the government of the
United States has become the most corrupt and incompetent in the world. Prove
me wrong. Each year between 1981 and 1993, and again between 2001-2009, and
once more between 2017-2021, there was a decline in effective legislation which
would have been beneficial for all Americans. Big business thrived, while small
businesses and the quality of life for the working class declined. During those
periods of time the men living in the White House were Ronald Reagan, George
H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump: all Republicans.
This is no coincidence. All four men used the same fiscal
policy, colloquially known as “trickle-down economics.” Their philosophy was, ‘give
tax breaks to the super-rich and large corporations.’ In turn, they would
become “job creators.” Two Bush’s and one Trump did not learn from the mistakes
of Ronald Reagan.
When Reagan left office in 1989, the national debt had risen
to more than one-trillion dollars, and the unemployment rate was increasing
rapidly.
When George W. Bush left office in 2009, the national debt
had escalated to more than 30 trillion dollars. Between 2017 and 2021, Trump
added more than eight trillion dollars, and thousands of Americans permanently
lost their jobs. The reason was Trump’s failure to take timely action and lead
our nation in the fight against the deadly Covid-19 coronavirus.
Now, are you still afraid of the dangers of Artificial
Intelligence? We have suffered from a complete lack of intelligence and common
sense for far too long.
