Moscow Mitch McConnell: Enemy of the People
I watched “60 Minutes” on Sunday evening, February 2, 2025.
Everything Moscow Mitch McConnell said was a lie. He is desperate to save the
illusion of his far too many years in the Senate. I consider old man Mitch to
be America’s second greatest criminal.
Number one on my list is his violation of the intent of the
Constitution after Trump was impeached twice by the House of Representatives.
On both occasions Moscow Mitch declared the criminal innocent and refused to
conduct a fair trial in the Senate. In my estimation, this was a form of
treason against the Constitution and the future of the American people.
Number two was his failure to perform his duty to hold hearings
for Merrick Garland in February of 2016. Moscow Mitch made up a rule in direct
opposition of the Constitution, claiming that no Supreme Court justice should be
confirmed during an election year.
In October of 2020, he pissed on his own rule and rushed
through the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett after the highly respected
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg lost her battle with cancer.
His third attack on the people and the core values of our
nation happened in 2017, 2018, and the previously mentioned farce in October of
2020.
He, in collusion with the Heritage Foundation, not Trump,
selected three Supreme Court candidates after the death of Antonin Scalia, the
retirement of Anthony Kennedy, and the demise of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. They were
not chosen for their judicial capabilities, but for their promise to overturn
Roe v Wade.
On June 24, 2022, another dark day in American history, six
justices who supported the policies of right-wing extremists revoked a 49-year-old
decision by a legitimate Court, helping Moscow Mitch achieve his lifetime goal.
On that day all women were relegated to third-class citizenship.
Moscow Mitch is a major hypocrite. Prior to the 2016
election he was the leader of the “anyone but Trump club.” After the
illegitimate November 8th election, he bowed to his master without
dissent.
This is how I will remember the poster boy for term limits.
His actions were always diametrically opposed to the needs and wishes of the
American people. He served himself and his fascist-leaning party.
