Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Trump’s defense strategy has changed, slightly. He claims that all of his legal battles are founded in political strategy, created by his enemies. He is playing the role of a victim. I guess part of Trump’s decline in mental acuity is a severe loss of memory. He appears to forget that many of the crimes he is accused of began long before he made the mistake of seeking the presidency. Others, including his insurrection on January 6, and stolen classified documents are actions witnessed by every American. We are not falling for your bullshit, Donnie Boy. THE REAL VICTIMS A brief look at Trump’s history reveals a life of crime. From bribing public officials, and refusing to pay contractors, to allegations of physical, sexual assault, the orange buffoon left a long trail of victims. As your illegitimate president, he violated the basic human rights of thousands. According to medical experts, Trump’s failure to take timely action to prevent an oncom...
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Aileen Cannon is a federal judge, appointed by Donald Trump. She has been charged with one of the most important cases involving Trump’s life of crime; his theft of classified documents when he was evicted from the White House on January 20, 2021. Yesterday she gave Trump a gift by delaying his upcoming trial. The events which followed prove that he violated the Espionage Act of 1917. He is also guilty of lying to the FBI, a federal crime. Before the raid on Mar-a-Lago, when they discovered boxes of national secrets hidden throughout the millionaire’s playpen, he claimed that he had returned all of them. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart It is no secret that I have been a frequent critic of the Supreme Court since 2020. I have good reason and a huge responsibility to criticize it for its corruption and political bias. However, when it does the right thing, I also have a responsibility to praise them for their actions. Thanks to a poorly written Second Amendment, which is ambiguous and lacks definition, the NRA gun lobby, paid for by gun manufacturers and gun sellers, has used this one amendment to the Bill of Rights for their own benefit. Gun violence began to escalate in America in 1976, the same year the NRA ceased its purpose as a gun safety organization, and aligned itself with the corporate world. The most recent statistic I found was from 2022. In that one year, 48,117 men, women, and children lost their lives from the use of a gun. Firearm suicide: 26,993 people. Firearm homicide: 19,592 people. Unintentional gun injury: 472 people. Fatal shooting by law enforcement: 649 peo...
