What Happens When the Inmates Run the Asylum?

The hearings to confirm Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense in the Senate are scheduled to begin today. It would be extremely difficult to find a less qualified nominee. Trump could have chosen son Eric, or possibly Sean Hannity; anyone but Hegseth.

However, Hegseth does not stand out among the incompetent criminals and sexual deviates selected by the draft dodger. He is simply another future resident in the asylum: the new name for the White House. Soon it will become a reality: “the inmates will be running the asylum.”

Hegseth and Trump have a lot in common. The FOX News personality also paid hush money to a woman after she accused him of sexually assaulting her.

Trump consistently stole funds from his own charity. Hegseth was forced to step down as the CEO of two charitable organizations, Veterans for Freedom, and Concerned Veterans for America. The accusations included financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety, and personal misconduct.

Like Trump, he was accused of being a lifelong sexual predator. However, Hegseth’s accuser was his own mother.

I could delve deeper into the life of a real “loser,” but I ask you now: “does this describe the man who should be in control of the largest and most deadly military in the world?”

Now, I beg you, try not to laugh as I offer you some of the names Trump has nominated for other important positions.

First and most ludicrous was Matt Gaetz, nominated for Attorney General. The nomination was withdrawn for obvious reasons.

Tulsi Gabbard: Director of National Intelligence. That’s right; “intelligence.”

Little Marco Rubio: Secretary of State, known as the laziest Senator on Capitol Hill

Scott Bessent: Secretary of the Treasury: a hedge fund manager.

Pam Bondi: Attorney General. Previously, Bondi was Florida’s Attorney General when the state was considering charges against Trump for his fraudulent “Trump Academy.” However, after receiving a $25r000 “campaign donation” from Trump, through his charity, she dropped the charges.

Doug Burgum: Secretary of the Interior. Former Governor of the very red state of North Dakota.

Howard Lutnick: Secretary of Commerce. Why? He’s a legitimate billionaire.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.” Secretary of Health and Human Services. A well-know vaccine denier and, in general, a “raving lunatic.”

Linda McMahon: Secretary of Education. Her sole credential is as an executive in the professional wrestling industry.

Kristi Noem: Director of Homeland Security. Her only qualification is related to the huge number of times she kissed Trump’s humongous derriere as Governor of South Dakota.

Kash Patel: Director of the FBI. He wrote a book criticizing the all-important agency he will now lead.

The list of criminals, and immoral incompetents goes on and on.

This is Trump 2.0. If you thought his first administration was a disaster, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”

Aileen Cannon: A Corrupt Judge Appointed by a Lifelong Criminal
