Mamdani Proves that the People Will not Accept the Status Quo

It’s clear that professional politicians on both sides of the aisle are not listening to the American people.

We know that those who call themselves Republicans don’t give a damn about the well-being of our nation’s 340 million people. Their loyalty is to Donald Trump and his handler, Vladimir Putin.

Democrats apparently believe that Trump’s destructive, fascist policies will encourage voters to choose them instead of members of the American Fascist Party in November of 2026. As usual, they are lazy and simply don’t listen. Those who talk but do nothing will discover an increase in voter apathy, resulting in a low voter turnout.

I am an Independent. We and Democratic voters who are in need of leadership are tired of words. We want to see action.

Personally, I would think that Democratic politicians would at least join their supporters on the streets, participating in the never-ending protests against Trump and his party. We want assurance that they care about us and our future. Anyone who has ever listened to one of Trump’s boring and repetitive speeches knows that talk is cheap.

In 2019, a young, courageous, and determined young Democrat received great support from New York’s 14^th Congressional District and gave our nation a new hero. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez resembled the Democrats of old, unafraid to speak truth to power.

New York has another reason to be hopeful. Mayoral Candidate, Zohran Mamdani listens to the people of New York and is not afraid to break away from the cowardice of his fellow Democrats. After he listens to the people, he assesses the situation and attempts to take action.

Mamdani is ahead by 19 percentage points in recent polls. New York will most likely have a leader who will work for them and not for Wall Street.

I am very disappointed in America’s business leaders, those who control the future of thousands of young men and women as presidents and chancellors of our colleges and universities, the majority of Democratic politicians, and leaders of nations around the world. They are surrendering to a cowardly, fascist bully.

Today’s America has become more like an elementary school than a country. It is a common fact that all bullies are cowards. Anyone who challenges the old, obese, anti-American pretender in the White House will see him cringe and crawl back under his rock. However, fear is strong among most Americans and courage is rare.

Trump not only admired Hitler, he copied him as closely as possible, and he’s succeeding. Every nation in the world is surrendering to the worst man in the world. One old, obese man with very limited intelligence is succeeding where Hitler failed.

Pitiful, just plain pitiful.
