I am a fan of “the Daily Kos.” Most of its writers are contributors, not employees, and they always speak ‘truth to power.’ I have no doubt that Trump and his entire fascist party hate me for telling the truth, and hate the Daily Kos even more because of its much larger circulation.

The Department of Justice was intended to be independent from the president. This included the Attorney General. However, in 2025 Trump chose Pam Bondi as our nation’s primary legal officer. The truth is that Trump bribed Bondi when she was the Florida Attorney General, and she accepted the bribe. Trump’s administration is composed of criminals, immoral, and hate-filled men and women.

The DOJ has become Trump’s “army of revenge,” and no longer represents the rights of all Americans.

A few weeks ago, Trump’s DOJ attempted to silence the Daily Kos. The company’s executives came to an agreement with Trump’s attempt to avenge its exposing of the truth, and part of that agreement was not to disclose the details.

However, one member of the board of directors offered this statement.

[The DOJ has backed off. They’ve withdrawn. We stood our ground, and we won.]

The Daily Kos is an independent publication, To defeat the DOJ, it needed the funding necessary to hire the best attorneys available. Donations from individuals who understand that publications like the Daily Kos are more important today than ever, provided it with the funding needed to force the DOJ to back off. We must all thank them.

I considered an invitation to submit articles to the Daily Kos. However, I have written for two newspapers, and three blogs, not including my own, which you are reading at this very moment. Two years ago I made a decision not to offer my rants to anyone else.

A combination of my age, and dependence upon others to properly place my articles in their publications, disappointed me greatly, and today, although my readership is far, far less than it was writing for a larger organization, I can write about anything which interests me, and publish as many articles as I choose without restrictions.

I must admit that my inspiration is occasionally the result of reading articles written for the Daily Kos. I am very pleased when others have the courage to tell ‘truth to power.’

With my time limited by age and other necessities involved with aging, I almost ended my blog. However, I will never give up the good fight. I refuse to accept the end of democracy, and the establishment of a fascist regime with Trump as its Fuhrer.

Unlike Trump, Moscow Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, Mike Johnson, Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, and others loyal to America’s biggest traitor, I love my country and what it stood for during my 79 years until one entire political party embraced fascism.

I challenge you to do the same. The dreams of our Founding Fathers must live on and remain the symbol of what doing the right thing every time, regardless of the consequences, can mean to every man and women on the planet.

Bessent is not quite a billionaire, yet, but he is a perfect example of how ignorant Trump’s administration is. Scott Bessent is Trump’s unqualified Treasury Secretary. He is not one of the billionaires on Trump’s cabinet, but he is worth 521 million dollars.
