Mitch McConnell, Better Known as “Moscow Mitch McConnell,” Will be Remembered as a Traitor to the American People

The only responsibility of a President, a member of the
House of Representatives, a Senator, or a Justice of the Supreme Court is to
serve the electorate, the people who elected them, or the individuals who
nominate them, hoping that they would serve them well by supporting their needs
and wishes. There is no other reason for their existence in a Democratic
Republic.
Sadly, our elected officials, and the justices on the
Supreme Court, continue to ignore their reason for living lives of luxury and
privilege. The majority of our nation’s people are ignored by all 546 men and
women who decide the future of 330+ million people.
The executive branch primarily consists of two people: the
President and Vice-President. The Legislative Branch is composed of 435 members
of the House, and 100 Senators. There are nine members of the Supreme Court.
We, the people, who compose the United States of America,
rely on these 546 individuals to make decisions based on our safety, security,
and improving our quality of life. When they fail, as they have for the last
four decades and counting, the dreams of our Founding Fathers begin to fade
into memory rather than exist in reality.
TERM LIMITS ON ALL THREE BRANCHES WOULD SOLVE MOST OF THE
PROBLEMS IN WASHINGTON
I’ve used this quote may times before, but it applies
perfectly to our federal government in 2024: “power corrupts, and absolute
power corrupts absolutely.”
America must realize that praising professional politicians
for their longevity is counterproductive. Moscow Mitch McConnell is the poster
boy for term limits on all elected officials and the Supreme Court.
He became a Senator in 1986. That will be 38 years at the
end of 2024. What has he accomplished for the people of Kentucky or the
American people? Absolutely nothing. His priority has always been his ambitions
which include securing power for the former Republican Party. He created the
“party of no” in 2009, and today all Republicans have become obstructionists,
and the primary reason why our federal government is dysfunctional.
Moscow Mitch is why Trump was not removed from office in
2018. Trump was impeached for attempting to blackmail the President of Ukraine
by the House. However, long before the trial in the Senate,Moscow Mitch
admitted that there would be no fair trial, and although Trump had clearly
violated the Constitution, he would be acquitted. He repeated that policy in
2021 after Trump was impeached for a second time.
Doing the right thing for his country was never a concern
for Moscow Mitch McConnell.
Moscow Mitch was his party’s leader in the “anybody but
Trump club in 2016. However, after Trump was inaugurated, he surrendered what
little integrity remained and capitulated to Trump’s demands. He literally told
the American people, “f**k you.”
THE OLD MAN OF THE SENATE WILL BE REMEMBERED AS THE WORST
SENATE MAJORITY LEADER OF ALL TIME
Earlier this year Moscow Mitch stepped down from his
position as the Minority Party Leader. He never was a leader, he was an
obstructionist.
We can never forget that it was Moscow Mitch, in concert
with the Federalist Society, who told Trump to nominate three totally
unqualified Supreme Court Justices. The only qualifications shared by his
choices were to support right-wing policies, and repeal Roe v Wade. The latter
is exactly what Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett did, and
were joined by Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Chief Justice John Roberts on
June 24, 2022, one of the saddest days in American history.
The disgusting truth is that whoever replaces Moscow Mitch
will be worse. Not a single man or woman on the right side of the aisle is
qualified to lead one of our two major political parties. If that was not true,
someone other than Trump would represent the “Republican Party” in November. He
remains the worst, least qualified candidate in our nation’s nearly 248-year
history.
Moscow Mitch was given many opportunities over the last four
decades to improve the lives of all Americans but his party was the priority
and he failed to do the right thing.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO PREVENT PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS FROM
CONTINUING TO BE A REALITY IN AMERICA
If you study history, you know that our Founding Fathers
never intended what is happening today. No one was expected to spend their entire
life in government. It is important to have men and women with new ideas and
new energy whose goal is to serve the American people, not rule over them.
Our president is prevented from serving more than two
four-year terms or a total of ten years. This should apply to the legislative
branch and the judicial branch as well.
MOSCOW MITCH IS IN THE PAST AND HAS BEEN FOR THE LAST 20
YEARS
Any elected official who refuses to move our nation forward
into the 21st century is our enemy. Every other developed nation
opposes racism, bigotry, and hatred. They offer free healthcare for all, free
or inexpensive higher education, paid vacations, paid family leave, and full
equality under the law, regardless of sexual orientation.
Under Trump, America moved backwards into the dark days of
the mid-twentieth century.
This cannot happen again. On November 5th, reject
party affiliation and vote for candidates who will support your needs, your
wishes. Be independent.
