Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Trump was “hatched” into a life of great wealth and white privilege. He has never existed in the “real world.” His America exists only for one percent of all of our nation’s people. It is clear that he is not aware of, and has no concern about his decision to end government services and the harm it is causing for millions of Americans. He is too busy. He continues to receive $400,000 each year, and use Air Force One as his personal aircraft. He went on a trip to Asia, where he received numerous “bribes” and undeserved praise for his constant failures. He is also focused on building a monument to himself: a ballroom no one needed or wanted. When finished, it will have cost about $400,000,000, and the East Wing will be gone forever. A legitimate president would have remained in the White House and met with the leaders of both parties every day until a solution was agreed upon.
