It’s a Very Sad Fact that Trump Can’t Read the Constitution
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I have been debating with myself about one issue for 10 years. Can Trump read, or does he simply choose not to read? I have finally come to a conclusion. It’s a combination of both. Trump does know how to read, as proven by his dependence on teleprompters. However, he lacks the attention span needed to read the Presidents Daily Brief, and will never read the Constitution. I think back to the first year of his first illegitimate presidency. A meeting was scheduled between Trump and Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan. The subject was healthcare. As Ryan began to speak, Trump lumbered out of the room. Ryan could hear the television in the next room being turned on. Trump has the attention span of a feral cat. It’s a sad fact that he has never read the Constitution. If he had, he would not be wasting such a large amount of valuable time of multiple federal judges and his own stacked and corrupt Supreme Court.
