SHITTING ON ANOTHER REVERED TRADITION The first presidential helicopter landed on the White House lawn on July 12, 1957. President Eisenhower, a real Republican President, used it to travel from Air Force One after landing at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart This story sounds like a fairytale. However, there is no damsel awaiting her prince charming to take her away. Instead, there is an old, obese, schoolyard bully who is raping the treasury of the United States of America. Trump is living like a king while more than one-half of all Americans struggle to survive. Greedflation has resulted in a huge decline in the quality of life for most of our nation’s people, including yours truly. Three of the last four Republican presidents used their positions for personal pleasure, often watching television and taking long naps and longer vacations. None reached the level of waste comparable to Donald John Trump. Between 2017 and 2021, Trump averaged two trips to Mar-a-Lago each month, This continues today. When he’s not partying with his oligarchs in South Florida, he is golfing at one of his resorts, or opening a new golf course in Scotland.
