Republicans Must Invoke the 25th Amendment Immediately
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Hopefully, if our planet is to survive, the United States of America will remain the only nation in history to have used nuclear weapons on innocent men, women, and children. On December 8, 1987, U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and Soviet Premier, Mikhail Gorbachev, signed an agreement eliminating an entire class of nuclear missiles, specifically ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges between 500 and 5,500 kilometers. I assume that all Americans hoped that this was the beginning of the end of the constant threat of world annihilation with the use of nuclear weapons. Just days ago, the moronic and evil President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, announced that he had ordered a test of a new, long-range nuclear weapon. He has been the greatest enemy that America, and the world, has faced since Adolf Hitler. He must be stopped.
