If You Enjoy Being Lied To, and Watch Television “News,” You Don’t Know Much About America
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart America has always been a “melting pot.” Our country is, by design, a nation of immigrants. From each of them, we learn about their culture, traditions, and most importantly, learning new ways to see the world. This is what will hopefully make our nation a great country in the future. America is also a young nation which is constantly moving and changing. People living in our big cities are moving to small towns. Those who already live in small towns frequently seek fame and fortune in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and other large and diverse cities. Regardless of our ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or the color of our skin, we share many things in common, and yet we are all individuals who are unique. No two people in the world are exactly the same. Diversity is a good thing, and so is DEI. Only racists are opposed to the inclusion of all Americans in every facet of our nation.
