Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Everyone’s life is a process, a process of learning from our experiences, our successes, and our mistakes. Nearing the age of 80, I hope and believe that I have learned many things about myself and the world in which I live. I cannot hide my physical disabilities. However, I believe that my mind is intact, and although I am nearing the definition of “octogenarian,” my memory of the last eight decades is clear. I am who I am because I followed the rules. I worked hard to care for myself and my family, and although I had my share of failures, I always tried to do the right thing. I am what it means to be an average American. Trump was born into a world which can only be described as “ultimate white privilege.” Not once in his life has he worked a full day. Studying him for the last 13 years, it is obvious that he never attended his classes at a military boarding school, Fordham, or Wharton.
