  Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Is it a war, or not a war? More importantly, is it Trump’s war or America’s war? Nowhere in American law is there a definition of “war.” However, the invasion of Iran can be defined, and to the average American, Trump’s unilateral decision to invade Iran was a declaration of war. Republicans on Capitol Hill refuse to call his decision an act of war. If it is a war, Trump must be impeached. This is a clear violation of the Constitution which reserves the right to declare war to Congress. If it isn’t a war, and Trump is wasting billions of dollars of taxpayer money, he must repay all 340 million Americans for his singular decision to attack a sovereign nation without provocation. It appears that the American people could take part in the biggest class action lawsuit in history. Trump claims that they are drug smugglers, while the government of Venezuela says they were pleasure craft. Members of the National Guard are invadeing blue states as Trump attempts to enact martial law to prevent protests against his fascist policies. Maybe Trump wants to give the Pentagon a much-needed victory They couldn’t defeat the North Koreans, were forced to retreat from Vietnam permanently, and lost to the Taliban and Iraq’s army before the conflicts began.
