Only a few of our presidents had the ability to inspire emotions of hope and feelings of trust from their audience. Most were in the same category of what I call “politispeak.” None of them resorted to name calling or complained about “how badly they were treated by the press.” None of them preached and incited anger, hatred, and the commission of violence until Donald John Trump. He is not “different,” he is disgusting and an embarrassment to every true American. WHAT THE HELL DID HE EXPECT? Trump chose himself to be the “key speaker” at last Friday’s Correspondents' Dinner (2). Big mistake. Trump has no sense of humor, but he tried to be funny. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Nothing irritates me more than listening to someone brag about their intelligence, and then make a huge mistake by attempting to say something, proving that they are “dumber than a bag of rocks.” This perfectly describes Trump and his entire administration. I am definitely not the only person in the world who is aware of how dangerous our nation has become. Whether you are a citizen, an immigrant, or a tourist, America has become a nation whose entire environment is composed of anger, extreme hatred, and escalating violence, most arising from within its own government. UNDER TRUMP, OVERSEAS TOURISM IS IN STEEP DECLINE Trump has intentionally placed a sign on every port of entry into the United States for all to see. It has a simple message which anyone can understand: “You Are Not Welcome Here.” Over Trump’s first year in office, tourism is down by 9.4%.
