Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Today, six members of the Supreme Court of the United States are right-wing extremists who support the fascist policies of their Fuhrer, Donald John Trump. Our Founding Fathers were not perfect: they made many mistakes. These mistakes were the result of their mistaken belief that their successors would improve what they began. They underestimated the faults of mortal men and their desires for money and power. The only reason for giving Supreme Court Justices lifetime appointments was to prevent them from becoming politicized. They believed that if they were not required to run for reelection, they would remain impartial. They were greatly mistaken, as we can all testify to today. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Three Justices on today’s Supreme Court are performing as intended by the Constitution. They are upholding laws which are supported by the Law of the Land, and refusing to rewrite laws according to their personal beliefs. The remaining six are clearly biased and therefore corrupt. The last justice appointed to the current Court is Amy Coney Barrett. When the legendary Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, passed in October of 2020, Moscow Mitch McConnell broke his own rule, forbidding the sitting president from filling a Supreme Court vacancy during an election year. He rushed her confirmation hearings through the Senate, stacking the Court in support of right-wing extremism. Barrett was confirmed by a vote of 52-48.
