Old, Submissive Democrats, Surrender to Trump, Hoping to end the Government Shutdown and Appease their Fuhrer
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Nothing confirms the failures of the Democratic Party more than what happened in our nation’s Capital on Monday. The wishes of the people were once again ignored by Democrats who refer to themselves as moderates. A better word is “cowards.” Not since Franklin Delano Roosevelt has a president and his administration placed the future of the majority ahead of the success and profits of the super-rich. All true Americans demand resistance to Donny Dictator’s attempts to destroy the fabric of America. However, a large number of Democratic politicians refuse to listen to the people. Their fear of losing elections far surpasses demands which would require them to do the right thing for all Americans. Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and other member of the “old guard” have been entirely out of touch with the American people for years. I live in Northern Nevada.
