Your Know the Story: How America Moved from the Most Respected Nation in the World to a Laughingstock

Between the year of my birth and today, I have moved all the way from a devoted and loyal patriot to someone who despises his country as it exists today. Why?  Because today’s America is not my America: it’s Donald Trump’s dark and hate-filled nation, composed of malcontents who hate the nation of our Founding Fathers.

With Trump as your illegitimate leader, the Pledge of Allegiance, the Declaration of Independence, and the First, Fourth, Fifth, and 14th Amendments have no meaning.

Trump is not a leader, qualified, intelligent, or a patriot. He is not and never will be an American president.

How has it come to be a reality that one ignorant, arrogant old, white man has destroyed America’s image? His actions have become so vile that our once revered nation will never achieve its former status as long as time exists.

My America was hanging on by a thread in 2016. Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Moscow Mitch McConnell, Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News are all guilty of ignoring the Constitution, and ethics violations which removed many of the core principles of our Founding Fathers. All of these men, women, and institutions are complicit in the demise of my America.

Fact, our government knew about Vladimir Putin’s involvement in our 2016 election long before November 8, 2016. In a country which actually believes in the image it offers to the world, Trump’s name would have been removed from every ballot. He was colluding with the leader of a foreign nation to overturn America’s most democratic process. The fact that our government, Democrats and Republicans alike, allowed Trump to be inaugurated on January 20, 2017, is the second greatest crime which ever occurred in the United States since its inception in 1776.

Maybe now you will understand why I do not trust or respect anyone in power: anyone with outrageous and unnecessary wealth.

I thank God, if He or She still exists, that I will not live to see the worst which is yet to come.

Bessent is not quite a billionaire, yet, but he is a perfect example of how ignorant Trump’s administration is. Scott Bessent is Trump’s unqualified Treasury Secretary. He is not one of the billionaires on Trump’s cabinet, but he is worth 521 million dollars. This one fact prevents the old, white man from understanding what it is to be a real American in the 21 st century.
