There are no “Men” in Trump’s Administration
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart The cornerstones of the United States of America are Freedom, and Equality. I was raised to believe that no man is ‘greater’ than another, regardless of his power, wealth, or position. In 79 years, I have learned this to be true. The truth is, the rich, powerful, and famous are often inferior when measured by their low levels of compassion, understanding, and concern for the less fortunate. However, in 2025, the promises guaranteed by the Constitution have been locked away in a dark place, waiting to be shredded or burned until nothing is left but ash. I have not watched television news since November 9, 2016, with two exceptions. First, I watch “CBS Sunday Morning.” It is a show about positive events and people in America and recharges my depleted battery as I write about the worst of our nation over the past week.
