Are You Afraid of Your President? If You Answered ‘Yes,’ He is Not Your President
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart A President of the United States is not a “King,” a “Dictator,” or any other form of autocrat. The truth is, he is no more important than the janitors who clean the White House bathrooms, he simply has a different list of “to dos.” He is a public servant. A president’s primary function is to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. This includes protecting the rights of every American guaranteed by the Law of the Land. He is also required to make our nation safe and secure for all 340 million people. His ‘job’ is to seriously address the many problems facing our nation and find solutions acceptable to everyone, even if that means compromise. He is not allowed to have prejudices: he was elected by voters residing in the most diverse nation in the world. Trump is the anti-American president.
