Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I just labeled Trump with multiple adjectives which are demeaning and degrading. However, because they are all based on facts: facts he, himself, offered by his own actions and speech: they are not unfair or undeserved. I cannot compete with Trump when the situation involves name-calling, although most of his are simply silly and laughable. However, anyone who disagrees with the schoolyard bully is sure to receive a “nickname.” His “nicknames” are not clever, because he is not ‘clever.’ We all remember “Crooked Hillary,” “Sleepy Joe,” and “Little Marco.” The mental health community reveals the reasons an individual feels he or she has no other recourse than name-calling to defend his or herself.
