Of All His Terrible Choices, J.D. Vance Remains the Worst
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
I hate to even write the name and title: “Vice-President
Vance.” It frightens me even more to think that at Trump’s age, Vance could become
your president overnight, than it does to know that Trump is your illegitimate
president today. Trump is “the devil we know.”
This will be a brief article. Everyone who cares about what
is happening in our nation knows that J.D. Vance was an unpopular choice for
most Republican voters. He is another hypocrite. He denounced Trump constantly
prior to being chosen as his running mate. I despise liars and hypocrites
equally.
It became completely clear after Trump violated the
Constitution once again on Saturday night, bombing suspected nuclear weapons
construction sites in Iran, that he and Vance rarely speak.
Vance, defending his Fuhrer, made the following statement,
although Trump had already indicated that he prefers a regime change in Iran.
"The president's been very clear: We have no interest
in a protracted conflict, we have no interest in boots on the ground," he
continued. "Our view has been very clear, that we don't want a regime
change."
Although Trump claimed that ‘Iran’s nuclear facilities had
been ‘obliterated,’ Vance contradicted his boss, stating that they had been ‘severely
damaged.’ Later he made another moronic comment.
"Severely damaged versus obliterated, I'm not exactly
sure what the difference is," Vance said, adding that he didn't want to
get into specific intelligence details. (Because he is not included in the
conversations.}
For Vance’s education, a couple of definitions
“Severely damaged:” “To be significantly harmed or impaired,
often to the point where the object or system is significantly altered,
weakened, or requires substantial repair or replacement. It implies a level of
damage beyond minor or superficial harm, indicating a substantial impact on the
object's functionality, structure, or value.”
“Obliterated:” “To remove all signs of something, either by
destroying it or by covering it so that it cannot be seen: The missile strike
was devastating - the target was totally obliterated. All of a sudden the view
was obliterated by the fog.”
Maybe I don’t understand the English language, but it
appears to me that there is a substantial difference between the two
definitions.
