The National Treasury just declared the United States “insolvent.” It’s a simple word which when used to describe a nation’s economic status, it is devastating. What does it mean to be insolvent? 1: having ceased paying or unable to pay debts as they fall due in the usual course of business compare bankrupt. 2. : having liabilities in excess of a reasonable market value of assets held. If you have been following Trump’s wasteful and moronic spending, you are not surprised. In 2025, Trump added more than four trillion dollars to the national debt while reducing taxes for the super-rich. HOW BAD IS IT? My wife and I carefully manage our finances every month.
