A Convicted Felon Pardons a Convicted Felon
There is an old saying: “Birds of a feather, flock together.”
This is clearly true when the discussion is about criminals. There is another which
also applies here: “We are judged by the company we keep.”
Trump takes great pleasure in pardoning criminals like
himself. Immediately after his undeserving inauguration he pardoned about 1,500
traitors who were convicted of treasonous actions performed on January 6, 2021.
These men and women are “his people.”
On Thursday he pardoned a horrible and brazen woman who
stole money from funds designated for a police officer’s memorial and used it
for outrageous personal expenses, including plastic surgery and luxurious
family vacations. The woman, Michelle Fiore, had been in Nevada’s state
government for a large number of years. When she committed her crimes, she was
on the Las Vegas City Council.
Her scam was something Trump would praise. It is a
well-known fact that he stole from his own charity for personal expenses. She
was seeking donations for a statue honoring Nevada’s fallen law enforcement
officers. She collected tens of thousands of dollars. However, the statue was
never commissioned, and the money disappeared.
In July of 2024, she was indicted and convicted on six counts
of wire fraud and one count of attempted wire fraud by a jury of her peers. Trump
pardoned her prior to sentencing. Fiore was facing many years behind bars.
It is an interesting fact that based on her devotion to our
nation’s greatest traitor, she has been known by the label, “Nevada’s Trump.”
Trump’s long list of pardons includes some of our country’s
convicted felons who were found guilty of extremely egregious crimes against
the American people. When he was virtually ‘pardoned’ for treason and violating
the Espionage Act, a crime punishable by death, I was forced to face the dismal
truth: the Supreme Court of the United States is corrupt beyond my wildest
imagination, and Trump is indeed above the law and will never be punished for
his long list of crimes.
