I’m in the Mood; Let’s Play “What If”
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Our country is a fucking mess. The reason begins at the top with a fat, old, brain-damaged fool, who will forever be known as America’s worst president. I would be remiss if I forgave the legislative and judicial branches. They, too, have proven themselves corrupt and dysfunctional. I want to play “what if:” what if events in our nation’s history had been different, if voters did not vote based on what they see and hear on television and researched the men and women who received their votes. WHERE IT ALL BEGAN For eight years, Bill Clinton reversed the damage caused by his two predecessors, Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. When he left office, our nation’s economy was in excellent shape. Then came the first election in the 21 st century. I am an Independent voter: always have been and always will choose the men and women I vote for based on their records and position on the issues most important to me and my loved ones.
