Still Doubt that Trump is the Antichrist?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The story of an “Antichrist” is found in the Old Testament
in John 1, 2, and 4. However, John states that the Antichrist is not singular,
but includes many who deny the teachings of Jesus Christ and seek to take his
place on earth.
I am convinced by his words and actions that Trump is indeed
the Antichrist of the 21st century. He opposes everything taught by
Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
[Love: Jesus' teachings place love at the very center,
urging followers to love God and love their neighbors as themselves. This love
extends to enemies, demonstrating a radical approach to compassion and
forgiveness.]
Trump preaches anger, hatred, violence in his name, and
revenge. He has spent his first five months in office seeking revenge against
anyone he perceives as his enemy. This need to spite those who disagree with
his fascist policies is the direct result of his lifelong disease, Malignant
Narcissism.
Malignant Narcissism: “Malignant narcissism is a form of
narcissistic personality disorder that is highly abusive. People with this
personality supposedly get a sense of satisfaction from hurting others and may
manipulate people or lie to gain money, acclaim, and other things they desire.
“Campbell’s Psychiatric Dictionary suggests that malignant
narcissism includes traits of narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial
personality disorder. Narcissistic personality disorder Trusted Source causes a
person to seek constant acclaim and admiration, often by whatever means
necessary. It also includes elements of antisocial personality disorder, which
causes a person to engage in harmful, and sometimes criminal, behavior.”
Every word in this definition accurately describes the real
Donald Trump I have researched since 2015.
[Forgiveness: Forgiveness is a recurring theme in Jesus'
teachings, both the need to forgive others and to seek forgiveness from God.]
Trump demands absolute loyalty from those whom he chooses
for his inner circle. However, one variation from unwavering fealty to the
orange buffoon and he not only renounces their relationship, he seeks their
destruction.
[Compassion and Service: Jesus consistently showed
compassion for the marginalized and those in need, and he instructed his
followers to do the same, emphasizing service to others, including the poor,
the outcast, and the needy.]
Trump chooses to serve and align himself solely with the
super-rich. He ignores the needs of the vast majority of the American people,
the working class. His “Big Beautiful Bill” will remove healthcare from
hundreds of thousands of our nation’s most desperate citizens, including his
most avid supporters whom he refers to as “basement dwellers.”
[Kingdom of God: Jesus' message included the concept of the
Kingdom of God, a realm where God's will is done and where those who follow him
will inherit blessings. He taught that the Kingdom is both a present reality
and a future.]
Trump falsely claims to be a Christian. However, he is
merely mimicking other professional politicians who use their supposed religion
for political gain. In truth, Trump’s only gods are power and money.
The church which Trump claims as his own, is a real church.
However, the pastor of that church claims that Trump and his family have not
once stepped across its threshold.
[Repentance: Jesus taught the importance of repentance,
which involves turning away from sin and seeking forgiveness.]
Trump often states that he has “never done anything wrong in
his life,” and has nothing to be sorry for. Today he is attempting a form of
genocide, using his personal gestapo, ICE, to remove anyone from our nation’s
shores who is not pure white. He has fired thousands of government employees
without regard for the damage he is doing to their very existence.
[Faith: Faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings is a
cornerstone of his message, as is faith in God's power to help and guide.]
I will respond simply. Trump has never read the New
Testament, and obviously rejects the basic principles of Jesus Christ.
[The Beatitudes: The Beatitudes, found in the Sermon on the
Mount, outline the qualities and attitudes that characterize those who are
blessed by God and will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.]
These are the beatitudes. Trump disavows the importance of
Jesus’ words.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom
of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness:
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called
children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of
righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Trump believes that the good things in life belong solely to
pure whites who have great wealth.
[The Golden Rule: Jesus' teachings often point to the Golden
Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,"
highlighting the importance of treating others with the same love and respect
one desires for themselves.]
This is Trump’s primary failure, a clear and destructive
policy of the Antichrist. He cares only for himself and no one else.
Trump constantly considers himself a king, or a Fuhrer, or
any form of a despotic leader. He is greater than anyone else and deserves the
adoration of his followers without any form of reciprocation.
Will you surrender to the worst creature in the world? Will you
bow to him and his evil plans for your future? Or, will you sit down right now,
and regardless of your religious beliefs, read the New Testament and closely
examine the teachings of Jesus Christ?
