Joe Lombardo is a Fraud and a Liar
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Nevada Governor, Joe Lombardo, is a Trump Lacky. He is
also, like his handler, a tool of the super-rich.
If you live in Nevada, you have likely watched his
expensive and professionally produced commercials. In them, professional actors
claim that Lombardo has improved our state’s healthcare, schools, and made
housing affordable. Here are the irrefutable facts.
FOUR YEARS LATER, NEVADA IS IN A HEALTHCARE CRISIS
Joe Lombardo became Nevada’s governor in 2022. Like his
hero, Donald Trump, he has accomplished nothing. The truth reveals that the
Silver State is in crisis when the subject is healthcare.
MY ADVIDE: DON’T GET SICK IN NEVADA
[In 2026, Nevada consistently ranks near the bottom for
overall healthcare and health system performance. Key indexes place the state
as 31st, 42nd, and 50th nationally. Nevada struggles with a severe shortage of
primary care providers and frequently ranks second in the U.S. for residents
avoiding care due to high costs.]
I can attest to one other fact: it is also extremely
expensive in a state where incomes are among the lowest in the nation. I was
admitted to one of Reno’s largest hospitals in 2024, and after two days of
hell, my original bill was about $25,000.
ARE NEVADA’S PUBLIC SCHOOLS COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER STATES?
[Nevada's public schools consistently rank near the bottom
nationwide. In the World Population Review rankings, Nevada ranks No. 48 out of
50 states for its public school system.]
My wife and I live two blocks away from a Middle School. Our
neighborhood has been vandalized by some of the students. Classes begin at 9
a.m. and end at 2 p.m. With a half-hour lunch and two 15-minute recesses, what
are they learning? Statistics give us the answer: not much.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Nevada has a population of more than three million people
and is the 5th largest in geographical area. Our people are mostly
low-income workers. Over the last 20 years, affordable housing has become
nothing but a memory.
No individual worker can afford to rent an apartment without
a roommate, and none can afford a single-family home. Economists claim that the
cost of a single-family home will soon prevent almost anyone 35 years old and
younger from owning their own home.
[In 2026, Nevada ranks 34th nationally for overall housing
affordability and homebuilding. The state earned a "C-" grade from
Realtor.com, driven by a median home price of $491,936 and a higher cost of
living compared to historical levels.]
Thank you, Joe Lombardo< for being the biggest fraud in
Nevada’s History.
