Trump’s “Accomplishments” Over His First 19 Months
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart As the midterm elections draw near, it’s time to rate your illegitimate president on what he has done, and what he has not done. First, the only thing he has done is to give additional tax breaks to the super-rich: his oligarchs/billionaires. That’s it. The issues he has either refused to address, or situations he made worse, are numerous. Trump destroyed the East Wing of the White House. He is building an unwanted and unnecessary ballroom. This fiasco will cost taxpayers nearly a quarter of a billion dollars if it is ever completed. During his administration, President Obama, spent about $34 million repairing the reflecting pool on the National Mall. Trump, attempting to undo another accomplishment of a real president, gave a “no bid” contract to a personal friend to make changes. It was a disaster, and remains incomplete.
