Why Republicans Don’t Want You to Vote
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart First, a few questions. Election day is a national holiday in 16 nations, why not the United States? The longest campaign season in the world, other than the U.S. is three months: why does America’s begin two years before election day? Why do Republicans suppress voting rights in an obvious effort to prevent millions of Americans from exercising their First Amendment right? Why do Republicans fear voting by mail? Why did Trump lose so badly in 2020? Each of these questions is easy to answer, but if you call yourself a Republican, you won’t want to know the truth. ONE REASON, BASED ON HISTORICAL FACT, ANSWERS EVERY QUESTION Most Americans support a progressive agenda. All developed countries are courageously moving forward into the 21 st century, with the exception of the United States.
