After I turned 70, AAA began to drastically raise my rates. I searched for a new company. I was told by USAA that I was not eligible, proving that their commercials are blatant lies. USAA claims that if your grandfather was in the military, you can have insurance. I was denied, although my father and I both served. The real reason is obvious: I was over the age of 70.
