Could Trump Pass a Fitness Test? Stop Laughing!
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
I begin this article with a statement everyone agrees with: I
want Trump to stick his executive orders up his humongous ass.
He has been abusing his powers constantly since January 21,
2025, I would like to see all six members of the corrupt side of the Supreme
Court perish in a vehicle accident for allowing Trump to become a dictator.
Okay, that’s off my chest. Now for the real story; and it’s
a funny one.
Trump scribbled his signature on another executive order
reinstating a real President’s plan to move America from the fattest nation in
the world into a nation of fit and healthy people.
Let’s compare one President with one wannabe Fuhrer.
President John F. Kennedy was 43 years old when he took the
oath of office in 1961. He was handsome, fit, brilliant, with a sense of humor
not seen since on Capitol Hill. He worked 12-14 hours each day although he
suffered from chronic and debilitating back pain from an injury suffered when
he played college football. He was the role model for young men and women like me.
In 1961, I was a freshman in high school and just 15 years old.
Now, here’s Donald Trump.
Your illegitimate president is an aging, 79-year-old man
with one foot in the grave. He is obese, never exercises, and is so lazy, he
breaks all the rules of golf including driving his golf cart onto the greens so
he doesn’t have to walk a few feet. His diet consists primarily of fast food.
He began this unhealthy habit when he was still in military boarding school. He
told a fellow student that he was afraid that someone would attempt to poison
him if his meals were prepared in a kitchen. He was hated long before he began his
life of crime and debauchery.
His excuse is, “I play golf.” Yes, he does, and it costs taxpayers
millions of dollars every time he chases a little white ball through the grass
and sand: more than 40 times since inauguration day. However, golf is a game,
not a sport. I have seen films of him attempting to play tennis. Trust me, it’s
not something anyone should see, but if you do, you will never get that image out
of your head. He looked like a water buffalo lumbering headfirst into a stream.
Let me get serious now. I do worry about all Americans.
When I was growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s in Los
Angeles, it was uncommon to see an obese person, and never an obese family.
America has become the fattest, most unfit nation in the world. The reasons are
obvious.
I see people driving through parking lots looking for
parking places closer to the store’s entrance. Fewer and fewer Americans cook
healthy and fresh food in their homes. They purchase “take-out” or pre-prepared
food containing additives and preservatives. Children complain if they are
forced to walk more than a block, expecting to be driven everywhere.
A fact you will never hear anywhere else, but with a little
research, you will discover it is based on fact.
Those who manufacture our clothing, mostly in other nations,
have changed their labels. What is now labeled a size “8” was formerly a “12,”
and so on.
I am not offering you this information because I find overweight
Americans unattractive. I am seriously concerned about the health of our nation’s
people.
Once again, when I was young, diabetes was uncommon. Today it
is common: too common. Heart disease is a greater problem than when I was
young.
The daily habits of Americans have changed. Instead of playing
sports like tennis, racquetball, or going to a gym after work or school, we spend
most of our time on our phones or other devices playing games or on social
media.
Parents keep their children occupied with organized and
costly activities, leaving them no time to play with other children and be
creative and spontaneous. Invention and ingenuity are disappearing in America.
I’m sure I sound like any other old man who believes that
the “good, old days” were better. Well, they were. We had something missing in
most lives today: “fun.”
Trump is an idiot. No one with common sense can deny this
fact. His idea of “fitness testing” is asinine. He could never have passed such
a test at any age. Donald John Trump is a fraud and an embarrassment to
humanity.
