Someone Needs to Tell the Truth: This is What’s Wrong With America

The hidden list: Healthcare, education, income inequality,
racism and bigotry, religious persecution, misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia, and
an illegitimate and fascist president who hates his own country.
Trump has been allowed to be your illegitimate president for
five years and five months. He failed to take his job seriously between 2017
and 2021, and is once again refusing to serve the American people in 2026.
Trump is the ultimate, professional politician. He made
hundreds of promises over the last eleven years, and failed to keep one of
them.
President Biden spent four years repairing the damage caused
by the orange buffoon. Therefore, not a single effort to solve our nation’s
growing problems has been addressed since President Obama left office in 2017.
Let’s look at each of the biggest problems facing America,
many of which began in 1981, and have only become more problematic over the
last 45 years.
THE WORST AND MOST EXPENSIVE HEALTHCARE IN ALL DEVELOPED
NATIONS
I can personally attest to the fact that healthcare in
America is more about profit than saving lives. Two years ago, I was forced to
be admitted to one of the largest hospitals in Reno, Nevada. After
three-and-one-half days in hell, I was told that I was cured and sent home.
Today, June 23, 2026, my situation is about the same.
I was overcharged and charged for personal care and
procedures I never received, and days which I was not officially in the
hospital. I was given tests I did not need after my diagnosis. It was one of
the most expensive and unpleasant four days in my life.
Every nation in the world has universal healthcare, with the
exception of the United States. When our moronic politicians claim that
“America is the greatest and richest nation in the world,” I almost laugh.
AFTER I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL IN 1964, I WANTED TO GO
TO COLLEGE, BUT I WAS POOR AND WAS NOT OFFERED A SCHOLARSHIP
Every developed nation offers free or low-cost higher
education to any citizen who wants it. Not in America.
Less than 10 percent of our nation’s people can afford the
cost of attending a college or university. In-State Public University: ~$28,000
per year ($112,000 total for a 4-year degree. Out-of-State Public University:
~$46,000 per year ($184,000 total for a 4-year degree)
One half of America’s 340 million people live in the
low-income bracket with salaries ranging from $15,000 to $17,000 per year for a
single individual, or up to $34,500 for a family of four. For a single person, the poverty line is
roughly $15,960, while for a family of four it is around $33,000. These
extremely low incomes prevent anyone from living in a single large city in the
United States, and that’s where the jobs are. Higher education is only an
unattainable dream.
The lack of highly educated Americans in the fields of tech
and engineering has become a national security issue.
INCOME INEQUALITY: A GROWING PROBLEM
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the number of millionaires and
billionaires grew, while jobless rates escalated beyond the imagination. Since
Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, the number of billionaires has
increased from 902 to 989. Since 1981, every right-wing politician placed the
desires of the super-rich ahead of working-class America. America’s motto has
been “profit before people” for the last 45 years.
As the wealth of our wealthiest five percent of Americans
has grown rapidly, the income of working-class Americans has remained stagnant
or has decreased, based on inflation and our federal government’s failure to
address the decrease in quality of life for the majority.
THE MOST RACIST AND BIGOTED NATION IN THE WORLD
In 1776, nearly every man who signed the Declaration of
Independence, and in 1789, the Constitution, owned slaves. America was born a
racist and bigoted nation, and has yet to end this hideous and unforgivable
situation.
In the 21st century, my beloved country has been desecrated
by the most racist man in the world and his fascist party. Every action taken
by Trump is focused on efforts to return America to the dark days of the mid-20th
century.
Trump was born into an atmosphere of extreme white
privilege. His father was allegedly a participant in at least two KKK rallies.
The son has followed in his father’s footsteps.
Let me be totally honest here and say what others will not:
If you are a Trump supporter after he has exposed himself for 11 years, you are
without a doubt a supporter of fascism and the end of democracy in America. Therefore,
America is the most racist and bigoted nation in the world.
THE PROBLEM IS “RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION,” NOT RELIGIOUS
FREEDOM
In 1981, Ronald Reagan openly expressed his support for the
Christian religion. This fact instigated the beginning of the Christian
Religious Right, and the current Constitutional violation by the entire
right-wing party in Washington. No vote is given or rejected without the
permission of the CRR and its Evangelical leaders.
I am one of more than 100 million Americans who reject all organized
religion. It is a crime and a First Amendment violation to force the beliefs
and demands of a few upon the majority.
Always remember: the First Amendment not only protects
freedom of religion, it guarantees freedom “from” religion equally.
WOMEN CONTINUE TO BE SECOND AND EVEN THIRD CLASS CITIZENS
I was born in 1946. From the first day I can remember, I
have somehow known that women will always be forced to fight for equality.
I have witnessed some progress over my 80 years. However,
every time our nation takes a step forward, one party, or one president moves
their fight two steps backwards.
The mainstream media will never report this fact. In the 21st
century, there are more women than men attending our colleges and universities:
more women registered to vote: and more women running for local, state, and
federal office than men in non-red states. If they cannot receive what belongs
to them, they are going to take it.
WHY DO SO MANY AMERICANS FEAR AND HATE THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY?
The Christian religion is often the villain in the story
about America’s past and present.
There is no justifiable reason for anyone to hate or fear
the LGBTQ community. Contrary to right-wing extremists and Christian leaders,
these Americans did not make a choice to be who they are. Science is real, and
conspiracy theories and “alternative facts” are bullshit.
No man or woman with average intelligence would choose to
live a life which places them in unpleasant and even dangerous situations. They
are truly courageous and have made a decision to be who they are instead of
living a life hiding the truth from America’s Puritanical and primarily
heterosexual population.
The rights of the LGBTQ community must be protected by
anyone who believes in the reasons for America’s very existence.
RETURNING TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT
After one of the darkest days in America’s short history,
September 11, 2001, the backlash against a group of religious extremists
resulted in what has become known as Islamophobia.
If you take the time to read the Quran as written by the Prophet,
Mohammad, his teachings are very comparable to those of Jesus Christ.
Christianity and the Religion of Islam have another
similarity. Extremists on both sides have caused more pain, suffering, and
death than any other groups in world history.
All three major religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Muslims
believe in understanding, compassion, and acceptance for all people.
Unsubstantiated hate is responsible for the extremists who created the
Crusades, and the villains who murdered thousands of innocent people on 9/11.
Our Founding Fathers believed that the First Amendment was
the most important paragraph ever written.
THIS BRINGS US TO THE WORST MAN IN MODERN HISTORY
Trump is not an American president. He shares nothing, no
positive attribute, with any of our past presidents.
Although most of our nation’s 47 leaders accomplished little
for the majority, most of them loved their country and served our nation’s
people to the best of their limited abilities.
Trump hates everything America stands for. He is the
Antichrist, and our nation’s greatest enemy and traitor.
We must destroy him before he destroys the dream of our
Founding Fathers forever.
