The Fact That it Was Not Unanimous Confirms Massive Corruption and Incompetence on the Court
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The Supreme Court did the right thing: at least most of them
did. The 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship to anyone born in any
of our 50 states. Your racist president demanded that the six justices he owns
uphold his executive order and void this section of the 14th
Amendment.
The only responsibility the Court has is to protect the
Constitution. The vote was 6-3 with Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito dissenting.
Kavanaugh voted with the majority, but agreed only that ‘federal legislation
enacted in the 1950s grants automatic citizenship for children born in the U.S.’
It says a lot about America and our corrupt government in
the 21st century. There is no reason why it was not unanimous.
NO ONE CAN PICK AND CHOOSE THE PARTS OF THE CONSTITUTION
THEY SUPPORT, INCLUDING THE SUPREME COURT
You may have noticed that under Trump, his administration,
his corrupt members of the legislative and judicial branches, America has become
a lawless nation if you are not pure white, male, rich, and claim to be
Christian. When justices Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and
Barrett gave Trump absolute immunity placing him above the laws of this nation,
the very essence of America became nothing but a memory.
When anyone in power is not fairly punished for his or her
crimes, laws mean nothing.
A FACT
It is a sad fact that our Founding Fathers would be very remorseful
if they could see what is happening on Capitol Hill today. If they had it to do
over, I have no doubt that term limits for all three branches would have been
paramount.
Mistakes were made between 1787 and 1789, but no one in our
government has sought change to improve their original ideas.
Elections, power, and personal gain take priority over doing
the right thing. When “the people’s president” led our country, the needs and
the wishes of the people the most important issues for him and his
administration. FDR was unbeatable, and the reason presidential term limits
became necessary ior Republicans were to survive.
Reality and the truth are undeniable and must never be
ignored. The rule of law is at the core of America’s principles and trust. If
it no longer exists, neither will the United States of America.
