With a Trump Illegitimate Presidency, Domestic Terrorism is Increasing in Numbers Never Seen Before

On October 1, 2017, the largest mass shooting, committed by
a single gunman armed with 12 military-style assault rifles, high output
magazines, and 'bump stocks,’ making them automatic weapons, murdered 58 people
and injured more than 500. Every year between 2017 and 2020, there were more
mass shootings than days on the calendar.
But wait: you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
[Data from the Gun Violence Archive (GVA) indicates that 264
mass shootings occurred in the US during the first seven months of 2025.
[Specifically, as of August 9, 2025, the GVA reports that 72
mass shootings took place in June and 192 mass shootings were reported in the
first five days of July alone. In total, the GVA reported 262 mass shootings
between January 1 and July 2.]
One factual statement tells it all: “nothing good ever
happens when Trump is pretending to be your president.”
What would you expect from a fat, old Nazi who preaches
anger, hatred, and violence constantly?
If you haven’t noticed, the United States of America has
become the most violent nation in the world. Death and injury from gunshot are
so commonplace, many news outlets fail to report them all.
The truth is undeniable: if you leave the comparable safety
of your own home, you may never return. No place is safe: not restaurants, nightclubs,
bars, malls, grocery stores, gyms, where you work, churches, temples,
synagogues, or your children while at school.
Republicans are always the first to offer their ‘thoughts
and prayers’ for the families, but nothing else. They wouldn’t want to offend
the NRA gun lobby which pays for many of their election campaigns.
The solution is so simple, I feel no need to repeat it.
However, doing the right thing is not in the Republican playbook and definitely
not it their 922-page fascist manifesto, Project 2025.
