I do not Know What Will Happen Next Tuesday, and Neither Does Anyone Else

No one can accurately predict the results of Tuesday’s Midterm Elections. The methods for polling used in the past are obsolete and mean nothing. Landlines were the primary contact used by the pollsters in their attempts to predict the outcome of elections. Virtually no one has a phone with a cord attached to the wall in 2026.

The age of information is as good as it is bad.

As a political writer, I block every attempt by anyone to contact me. I have assigned individual ring tones to anyone with whom I choose to communicate. I denounce politics and politicians, considering them the enemies of democracy. Why would I allow any individual following a script to ask me questions about my preferences or anything I consider private information.

The individuals conducting these polls rely on the needs of men and women to express their own opinions. Those “opinions” are frequently a repetition of what they saw and heard on television. In other words, their opinions are based on lies and innuendo.

WHAT BOTHERS ME MOST IS HOW EAGER AMERICANS ARE TO BELIEVE LIES AND IGNORE THE TRUTH

It is an irrefutable fact that Donald Trump is pure evil. His most egregious lie was an abomination and led to an act of treason on January 6, 2021.

Facts have to mean something. Denying reality is a conscious choice to choose ignorance over undeniable proof concerning a specific issue.

Anyone who believes that there was “massive fraud” in the 2020 election also denies climate change caused by man’s use of fossil fuels in our vehicles, and pollution caused by manufacturers who use similar combustible materials. Facts are of no interest to them.

Sadly, the American people are the least informed in the free world. Although 60 state courts and his own stacked Supreme Court literally threw out every attempt to consider reversing the decision made by voters, Trump’s cult continues to believe his biggest lie.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

In 2016 the polls favored Hillary Clinton. However, our leaders in Washington hid the fact that Vladimir Putin was interfering in the election from the voting public.

The men and women who conducted the polls were fully aware that the individuals who strongly supported Trump would do anything to get him elected.

If I and other political writers are truthful, the 2016 election was decided by emotions rather than fact.

The facts were irrefutable. Hillary Clinton was the most qualified presidential candidate in history, and Trump was the least. However, a large number of men in America remain misogynistic, and the mainstream media offered Trump five times more coverage than all other candidates combined.

When the press did cover Ms. Clinton, their attention was focused on her controversial use of a private e-mail server. Issues facing our next president were seldom mentioned.

The bottom line is obvious: polls don’t matter. The only fact of importance is how many voters favoring each candidate actually fill out their ballots. This is confirmed by the statistics after the 2020 election.

The largest voter turnout in history was not about Joe Biden as much as it was focused on removing Trump from our White House. He remains the most hated man in the world.
