Has Anyone Recognized the Similarity Between Trump’s Government and Putin’s?

Present at Trump’s inauguration were several oligarchs. In total there are 813 billionaires/oligarchs in the United States. Our nation’s economy has been based on capitalism for centuries, but devolved into a plutocracy between 2017 and 2021. All three branches of our government are controlled by right-wing extremists who are owned by Trump and his oligarchs.

This is exactly the same situation in Russia. Putin and his oligarchs have been in complete control of an entire nation for decades. Anyone who dissents is punished. Trump is attacking everyone who disagrees with his fascist policies, or investigated his failed coup attempt on January 6, 2021.         

Recently Trump added another tactic used by both Adolf Hitler and Putin. He barred legitimate news agencies from the White House. Coincidence? Not on your life.

Okay, maybe you don’t care about Trump’s lies. In 2015 he was asked about Putin. His response was: “I never met the man.” Records prove that he and first of three wives, Ivana, were invited to Moscow by the KGB in 1987. They accepted. Guess who was a high-ranking officer in the spy organization in the 1980’s? Good guess: Vladimir Putin.

In 2013, Trump took the Miss Universe Pageant to Moscow. He had an ulterior motive. A dossier, composed by former MI-6 agent, Christopher Steele, contained details about that visit. It includes meetings between Trump and Putin. The purpose was to win the 2016 election. This document has never been proven false.

Maybe you don’t care that Trump colluded with Putin to win the 2016 and 2024 elections. And maybe you support fascism and the end of the dreams of our Founding Fathers.

Trump has been called “Putin’s Puppet.” The reasons are many and accurate. During his illegitimate presidency between 2017 and 2021, Trump exchanged phone conversations with Putin frequently. Those conversations continued after he was evicted from the White House on January 20, 2021. He would have succeeded if his ego, fueled by malignant narcissism, had not interfered with Putin’s plans.

Trump was better prepared on January 20, 2025. Once again, he had his orders: destroy America from the inside. With the assistance of lifelong Nazi, Elon Musk, agencies critical to the core values of our country are being destroyed. Campaign promises have been completely ignored, again, as Constitutional violations occurred daily.

Trump has another advantage in 2025. He and his fascist party are firmly in control of Washington. The executive branch, both houses of the legislative branch, and six of the nine members of the Supreme Court are loyal to Trump and Putin, not to the people of the United States of America.

The question is, “will the American people, their legitimate leaders, and the leaders of the free world allow America to become a satellite revolving around Mother Russia?” Trump’s only powers are those which have been surrendered to him. In reality, he is nothing more than a schoolyard bully: a coward with a low level of intelligence who has others fight his battles.

I hope I live long enough when the name “Trump” is no longer on the front page of every legitimate and illegitimate news service. I would prefer not to use or read four-letter words every day.
