Two Questions: Of Course They Involve Trump: What Else Did You Expect?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
I have literally written thousands of articles about Trump.
I know as much as anyone about the worst, illegitimate president in history.
However, he is not intelligent, he began losing support
during the 2024 campaign, he is far from charismatic, and most people find him
unlikable. Trump is a convicted felon who I watched commit treason. The FBI
searched Mar-a-Lago and found dozens of documents which would have convicted
him of violating the Espionage Act if the corrupt Supreme Court had not granted
him absolute immunity, placing him above the law. Our Founding Fathers must be
shedding tears in heaven. What possible reason would anyone have for giving
their precious vote to the least qualified man in history?
I have questions about issues which make no sense, offer no
reason why anyone would continue to support the worst man in the world.
First question. What sense does it make to defund our nation’s
intelligence agencies, and continue to give hundreds of billions of dollars to
the Pentagon? It is a fact that the Pentagon wastes at least one half of its
yearly allotment.
It is highly probable that most of you are unaware of this
fact. You will probably be so surprised you either won’t believe me, or you
will begin laughing hysterically. Trump put a great deal of negative effort
into his nomination of Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence. No
one who knows anything about what happens in our government would ever put the
name Gabbard together with intelligence.
However, as unbelievable as it seems, she was confirmed by
the Senate.
On Wednesday, her office announced that 700 million dollars
will be cut from the Department of National Intelligence annually. Trust me.
Our intelligence services are of far greater value than our oversized and
over-funded military. Fact: the military forces of the United States have lost
every war since WWII. That’s 80 years without a win.
Second question. Trump demanded immediate action from the Texas
legislature which would gerrymander its state, all but guaranteeing wins for
Republicans in the 2026 midterms. This act, at this time of the year, is unprecedented.
It is immoral, and very likely criminal.
So, why are they bowing to Trump’s demands? He is the most
unpopular president in modern history, and his poll numbers continue to fall. Anyone
who aligns themselves with Trump is risking a loss in 2026. The only thing
which comes to mind is “what do they know that we don’t? What crimes is Trump
planning between now and November 2026?”
I say it one more time: “Trump is by far the worst thing to
happen to our nation in its 249 years.”
