If You Are a Member of the Working-Class, and Voted for Trump, He Thanks You by Raising his Middle Finger
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Trump is not concerned with the welfare of most of our
nation’s people. His focus is solely on seven percent of all Americans:
billionaires and multi-billionaires. Multiple promises were made to the working-class
in 2024. But, as it was in 2016, they were all lies. Greedflation continues to
grow here in Nevada and across the United States. The invasion of Ukraine
continues to escalate, and taxes have been raised on working Americans, and
lowered for the super-rich.
Unless an Act of God happens in the next three days, our
federal government will shut down on Wednesday. America is the only nation
which passes an annual budget, and later requires an agreement on the “debt
ceiling,” and how those funds are allocated. In 2025 our government is
undoubtedly the most corrupt and incompetent in the world.
A couple of days ago, a meeting between your illegitimate
president and leaders of the Democratic Party was scheduled to discuss a
possible prevention of that shutdown. Trump canceled the meeting. This was a
clear indication that Trump actually wants a shutdown.
He remains a desperate man. He will literally to anything to
redirect the public interest from allegations that he is a pedophile, and his
failure to perform the job for which he was elected.
The world’s most infamous con man is at it again.
Other than playing golf, partying at Mar-a-Lago, and using taxpayer
money to travel the world, Trump had done nothing, with the exception of
exercising revenge against anyone he perceives to be his enemy.
The responsibilities of an American President are the
security and safety of our nation’s people at home and abroad, improving the quality
of life for all Americans, and protecting and defending the Constitution. Trump
has failed every one of his duties completely.
History proves that all Republican presidents fail the
working class. However, Trump has escalated this fact to a new and unrealistic
level.
You and I are of no importance to Trump and his incompetent
administration. We are the victims of lies and false promises once again.
Trump’s America is not my America.
