America Will Live On: Thank You
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Two years ago, I feared America was taking its final breaths. For me, I will think of November 3, 2026 as “salvation day.” Not only did a band of hardworking Americans save our country, they removed the pessimistic attitude yours truly had fallen into. Although the leaders of the Democratic Party and their mainstream media supporters are calling this a “blue wave” and other words claiming a massive victory, it is not theirs to enjoy. This was an “American Tornado.” Naysayers within the “old guard” of the Democratic Party actually denounced several of the men and women who raised their arms in victory Tuesday evening. Make no mistake about this historical and “nation-changing” event. The credit belongs to the candidates who worked hard, believing in what they were fighting for, and having faith in their fellow Americans to do the right thing and return our nation to all true Americans.
