Trump’s America 2025: Ethnic Cleansing, Martial Law, Punishing Anyone Who Dissents: Heil Trump?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
I challenge the mainstream media to live up to its
responsibility and tell the truth. Our Founding Fathers gave them First
Amendment protection for a single reason: they were to expose corruption in
government.
However, since 1981, they have failed the American people. A
little-known threat was made by congress. They were told that if stories they
did not want to be told appeared in the news, their “sources” would disappear,
and their careers in jeopardy.
Almost immediately any stories about corruption on Capitol
Hill either disappeared or were incomplete.
In the 21st century, there exists only one way to
be completely positive that a pending story involves corruption comes from
these five words: “for reasons of national security.”
This, and the fact that “sensationalism” increases
viewership, and an increase in ratings encourages an increase in advertising
revenue, is why the “real Donald Trump” has not been fully exposed over the
last 10 years.
However, over the last seven months and five days, he is no
longer hiding the truth.
The right-wing’s fascist manifesto, created from threats and
promises made by Trump during his many hate rallies from 2015 until today, are
currently being placed into the daily policies from our nation’s ‘not-so-White
House.
One of my favorite bumper stickers, which I saw for the
first time more than 10 years ago said it all. "When fascism comes to
America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.” Think about it.
I assumed that the thought had appeared somewhere in our
country long ago, and I was right.
It’s meaning originates from the novel, “It Can’t Happen
Here,” published by America’s own Sinclair Lewis in 1935. Its subject was a fascist
takeover of the United States. Although it is doubtful that Mr. Lewis ever
wrote or said the exact words, it is a summation of his dystopian tale.
However, and with great sadness, I must tell you that his
story is exactly and irrefutably occurring on this very day in Washington.
In 1981, Ronald Reagan became the impetus for the creation
of the Christian Religious Right. Right-wing politicians were desperate for new
members to add to their base. The American people were supporting progressive/liberal
ideas and policies offered from politicians on the left side of the aisle. “Republicans”
quickly accepted and supported the demands of the CRR and included their
beliefs in their own platform.
Reagan is also responsible for the increase in ‘nationalism;’
another component of fascism. No country can become ‘great’ without open and
honest dissent. These factors are critical in the advancement of civilization.
Many organizations in America are rooted in fascist
philosophy, including the military, law enforcement, and all religions, with
emphasis on Evangelical leadership.
Read the following, and think about Trump’s America in 2025.
[Fascism's core beliefs include ultranationalism, a
single-party, authoritarian state under a dictatorial leader, the suppression
of opposition and democratic governance, a belief in a natural social
hierarchy, and the subordination of individual interests for the perceived good
of the nation or race. It is characterized by militarism, often involving
expansionist territorial goals, and emphasizes strong state control over
society and the economy.]
Every sentence: every word is contained in the 922-page ‘Project
2025.’
Once again: "When fascism comes to America, it will be
wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.”
