The “Big Beautiful Bill,” or “A Huge Mistake?”
Some “Republican” members of the House are voicing regrets
about voting for Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” I am aware that most Americans
believe that members of the legislature read the bills presented to them before
casting their votes. They are wrong. Members of the House and Senate rely on
their aides to read and analyze each bill presented to them. However, they are
far too busy campaigning for their next election, or attending events with the
billionaires/oligarchs who pay for their votes to actually read and understand
them personally.
Uninformed voters were shocked when the “Mother of Fascism,”
Marjorie Taylor Greene, expressed some regret while admitting that she had not
read the document prior to voting in favor of Trump’s “Big Mistake.”
Trump’s former “brother from another mother,” Elon Musk, left
Washington but not politics. He has become the biggest critic of Trump’s
destructive bill.
["I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore,"
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk wrote in a post on his social media platform X.
"This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a
disgusting abomination."]
Not only would this bill virtually remove all Medicaid from
those who need it most; most of them Trump supporters; endanger Medicare, and
completely remove healthcare from more than six million Americans, it will add
between 3.8 to 10 trillion dollars to the national debt. This was Musk and DOGE’s
prime purpose; to reduce the more than 36 trillion-dollar imbalance which threatens
the future of our nation by at least two trillion dollars.
It is an irrefutable fact: when the subject is the economy,
Trump is the greatest failure in American history. In 2017 he destroyed America’s
economic recovery. When he left office in 2021, the American people were facing
the probability of a second Great Depression. Fortunately, Joe Biden saved
thousands of small businesses, millions of jobs, and brought to an end the
destructive effects of Covid-19.
Over his four years pretending to be your president, Trump
Corp profited more than 1.7 billion dollars. Between January 20, 2025 and
today, Trump increased his personal wealth by nearly 10 billion dollars. His
big bill would add even more billions to his personal account, and to the
outrageous profits of 813 billionaires/oligarchs.
The truth is often painful, but it can never be denied.
